Since 2015 I’ve been collaborating with an artist/ farmer shooting in a field which has a circle of trees surrounding cut grass in the shape of a Nine Mans Morris board. After seven years, these trees are tall - two meters plus! Walking among them one spring day, I marvelled at the random way the new growth reached out for the sky. Kind of like an exotic script.
